The CBC’s Rubina Ahmed-Haq says streamers offering perks need to know that isn’t what customers are looking for. Streaming services are becoming less cost-effective, and many users aren’t getting value from their subscriptions. Financial expert Kelly Ho suggests evaluating whether the cost is justified by dividing the monthly fee by how many shows you actually watch. If you’re only watching one or two, it might not be worth it. Summer is a great time to pause unused services and rethink which ones you really need.
