Brandon was born and raised in Victoria, BC. Brandon’s first passion in life was the for the game of hockey. Through hard work and dedication, Brandon was able to enjoy a successful career in the sport as a goaltender. Brandon reached the American Hockey League for a brief stint as a professional and earned an NHL tryout with the Los Angeles Kings. He very quickly learned a new level of professionalism, leadership, teamwork, and communication skills that have played a major role in his personal development.
Due to his accomplishments in hockey, Brandon was able to attend Acadia University on a scholarship where he studied business with a focus in finance and entrepreneurship. At Acadia, Brandon continued to play hockey at an elite level while earning a bachelor’s degree in business administration. Brandon continued to accomplish a lot both personally and with his team on the ice. As a student athlete, he received the designation of Academic All Canadian multiple times.
Upon graduating from Acadia University Brandon chose to step away from hockey and move back to Victoria with his wife Georgia. The two plan to live in Victoria a raise their son, Charlie.
One of Brandon’s greatest passions in life is helping others as a personal financial advisor. Utilizing his skills as an entrepreneur, leader and communicator Brandon works very hard with clients to understand their situation and their goals. Along with his surrounding team of financial experts, Brandon would like to build financial plans that are as unique as the individuals they are prepared for.
In Brandon’s spare time he enjoys spending time with family, golf, Seahawks football and volunteering as a goaltending coach and mentor to young hockey players. He plans to take a more active role in Victoria’s minor hockey and business associations in the near future.
